YOO: Not sure if this will solve your problem or not, but seeing no one else has jumped in, I'll give it a shot. First, I assume you are running WindowsXP? A couple of things I have learned while playing some of the new games is they really tax your video card with the extensive graphics. Have you updated your video driver? I know you think I am nuts for asking, but hey sometimes we forget to check that. lol We run alot of games on our systems that really tax our video cards, and we have NVIDIA FX5500 256 mgs cards. Sometimes you have to adjust the video options on the games for your card or the game will freeze you up big time. Found 1 thing that games really have a pet peave with, if it is set higher (video) in the game than on your desktop it will interfere with the game. We usually run games at 800x600 to get them to run the smoothest. Right now we are playing Doom3 Ressurrection of Evil, and that does lag at very graphic spots in the game, but doesn't freeze us up as our video is set to that. Just an idea, try adjusting video to stop the freeze ups. Hope that works.

well i have an 9800pro and i only run one setting at high....i never had problems it ran smooth as silk. i need to get my latest drivers for it....i think it might be a processor problem and may have to buy another one or it could be a power supply also. ill give the new drivers a try.

If you OCed, I think the problem here is ram and Vcore of ram and CPU, you can raise vcore of Ram and CPU more, just alittle higher unstill it is stable and paying attention to t*
    good luck
