Problems after installing NForce4 drivers

Hi there, I've been looking through search results with no luck,

I recently looked on these forums as I was having a constant problem with my Machine. Every so oftern I would come to turn on my PC and it would have "no input" to the monitor, I wasn't sure why this was but it seemed each time I uninstalled the nvidia drivers both display and nforce via safe mode. it would start again no problem and I could re-install these files. Everything would be fine again.

This time I wanted to make sure I had the correct drivers as I never used to install Nforce drivers at times, so the SM bus was unknow and another one that goes with it, forget the name of it now. So I came across this website telling me to install everest to detect what hardware I do have, this I done and it said to install the Nforce4 drivers.

Once doing so. Computer restarted fine but again it just says "no input" to the monitor, so I tried to uninstall these in safe mode only this time during start up it won't let me go into safe mode. It will either crash at the dell start up screen, or the screen afterwards if I press F8. but some times it will start up. only I have no screen to work with!

Can any of you guys please help me.

My system is an Dell XPS600 with a nvidia 7800 GTX
I am using Windows Media Centre Editoin

Yeah, I did get the drivers from the nvidia site as I thought the ones from the dell looked as though they were dated. the "no input" wasn't an error message it's just that no signal is going to the monitor. so its not an error message as such. Its just hard to do much with it crashing in the bios screens and not being able to load it in safe mode.
