    2) two errors pop up every time i boot
    rundll

    Hi

It looks in part like you have not fully uninstalled the Nvidia drivers first before installing the ATI card, install Driver Sweeper and after an add/remove uninstall of any Nvidia Graphic drivers run this app from safe mode (F8 at boot).

..............as for Sound then more info will be needed so follow this for an Everest Log

If your PC is one from the likes of DELL, HP, Sony, etc what is the Make and model varient as this will assist us if we need drivers?

If your PC is a home or custom build what is the motherboard make and version?

To find this info you can use the likes of Everest to find this info, at times a summary log of your PC can help, to do this

    Install Everest and run
Click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose System Summary Only > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report, then click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop is best as easy place to find it, use Browse to locate desktop)

Then attach your log to your next post as per these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

Hi yes very likely and did you run Driver Sweeper in safe mode? as it needs to be done this way as the files will be in use if in normal mode, so boot into safe mode (F8) and run it again.

As for Audio, if I have your Model of PC correct in a Compaq SR2010NX then the drivers for XP are here (audio one id the Realtek one near bottom) and as you have SP3 alrady you should not need the UAA driver thats normally needed as SP3 included this update.

    Hi

Get Ccleaner and then once installed and run click Tools > Startup and if those two are in the list delete them.

Great on the startup errors, as for Audio driver, did you install the one I posted for your Compaq PC in post #6 above? May also if you have Yellow ! marks in Device Manager install the Nvidia Chipset drivers also on that page first before the audio driver.
