Problems after uninstalling a form filler

I installed a form and password filler on my machine that runs Vista. I then found that you had to connect the software to their website to use it, so I uninstalled it. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of it, but it did the same job as Roboform. Since uninstalling it, Vista is not remembering any of my user name or passwords and I have to keep entering them which is tedious. I have checked my internet options and made sure that under security I have the tab "automatic logon with user name and password" ticked. I don't know what other settings this software altered.

Has any one any ideas?

It appears to be fixed now thanks. I went to cmd entered SFC /SCANNOW
and ran that. It found errors in the file system. After re booting I logged into Major geeks, logged out and then connected again and I was automatically logged back in.
