Problems copying, pasting and moving. OS: XP

Following a previous reinstall of windows xp, ive been experiencing problems with copying, pasting and moving cetrain things, such as files, text, pictures etc. I was wondering if anyone could help me solve this problem?

 

i had same problem mine was with dragging a file and place between another but it would just position it self on both files on either side . it would not automactically sort itself out in its new place . my solution was i eventually had to do complete reinstall as my system crashed badly .

 

yea ive got admin privileges on my pc, when i try and perform them, nothing happens, literally, its really odd.

u recon ive got a virus? ive been wondering, because ive got a task running in my task manager called 'mslaugh.exe' looks a bit suspicious as ive never noticed it before.

 

bingo!! you're infected..

 

oh sh*t, better get rid of that then, ive bin blasterised. thanks for all the help guys!
