I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop that I wiped the hard drive on so that I could do a fresh install of XP Pro. The problem is that when I put any XP disc it, it scans the computer and comes back with the error message no hard drive. I'm thinking this is an issue with drivers but am not sure.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated

The hd is probably SATA and the drivers need to be loaded before XP is installed otherwise XP looks for an IDE drive which is not present.
