Problems Installing Battlefield:Vietnam

Strangeness in abundance!


I'm attempting an install on two identical machines, both running XP Pro...

My problem is that when I get to the part just following the Directory for the install, when I am supposed to enter the serial/key... The dialog box for entering the serial never pops up! I get the hourglass cursor for a second, then it goes back to norm... and nothing pops up. I wait for a while and then it pops up saying that i have entered an invalid serial and it is closing the installation. (I haven't even touched the keyboard).

This is the first time an install has been attempted on this computer, and this happens every time. No problems whatsoever on the twin machine.

 

I'm have the exact same trouble. The CD Key Dialog Box never pops up. I just get a message saying my CD Key is invalid. How can it be invalid, I never put it in.
