I am currently using Windows XP with Service Pack 1 and am having problems installing Flash PLayer 7. Every time it starts to install, I get an error message saying "INF Failure, reason:unknown". Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

Do or did you have another version of Flash Player installed?

try this from Macromedia Support http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_19166 they also have a small tool to remove any old reminents of flash.. so you should be able to get a clean install of the new version.

also rather than installing online .... download the full version to your PC and run from their ( the full stand alone version is also available at the link above )
