Problems playing videos

    No matter what I use to play videos they are all dark, the rest of my screen is fine just the video itself is pretty dark. Any suggestions. This is a clean install and I'm using a 6800gt

    Do you know what codec was used to encode the videos you may not have the right codecs installed?:foolish

    I'll check on that when I get home. It was just any video from YouTube that I tried to watch. TY

    I tried that and I tried re installing windows media player and still no luck
