problems pming in FF

    jarcher I can't handle a title

    everytime i pm someone in a vb board
    before the script pops up
    FF stops responding
    then I can't get it running again uless I reboot
    any ideas what the problem may be?

    sounds like a javascript issue. did you change any javascript settings in FF?

    all i did was update it
    FF when it came out

    save your bookmarks file.
    uninstall it.. remove mozilla firefox folder from program files. DO NOT remove your profile, you don't need to.
    Then reinstall it from scratch.

    Which version of Firefox are you using? If your pm worked in 1.0.1 and not in 1.0.2, then reload version 1.0.1. If it has happened all of a sudden, have you made any changes whatsoever to FF. If so, what were they?

    I've reinstalled it from scratch a couple times
    I had an uninstall string for version 1.0.1 in the reg
    which I removed, that shouldn't have been there anyway
    but I think that did it
    I don't see why that would have done that though
