Problems....problems....and more problems..!!!

Hey Guys......and Gals..! I've been experiencing some problems I thought I could conquer, but have not had any luck. First one is sending email.!!! I am using Comcast as my ISP and have had my email program..Pegasus V4.11 configured correctly for a couple years. Well, at least I thought I did. Recently Comcast took over the Adelphia network and for a while all worked fine. Then I started having problems. The correct setting for my stmp server is stmp.comcast.net and that is from thier own geeks. I can receive mail with Pegasus and present configs but I cannot send mail with the settings I have now and setting they confer are correct. Someone in their tech support told me I may have a virus that is restricting me from sending, but my virus scans do not pick out anything unusual. Anyone got any ideas?? I am now using the Comcast internet mail as a way to get my incoming messages. Also, I can't open video files such as .mpg, .avi or other file extensions that support video. I am running Win XP Pro with Mozilla Firefox as my browser. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The outgoing mail server should read "smtp.comcast.net" without the quotes

Are you trying to use Windows Media Player and if so which version?
