problems running joint operation:typhoon rising

hi every 1 im pokey new and want to say hi formost i have a problem just installed a new ati radeon 9200 128 agp graphics card works fine no problem got a problem playin 1 of my games though i have joint operations typhoon rising and every time i try to run it after numerous installs it says quote: the procedure entry point ddentry 10 could not be located in dynamic link library ddraw.dll. ::: sow hat do i have to do dl or what ever to get this to work .....p.s. it worked when i first got it then i had to restart bcz of a stom rolling in what happened?

 

HI THERE, HAVE YOU CHECKED TO SEE IF YOUR DIRECTX FILES ARE BOTCHED UP.....RUN DXDIAG.EXE AND LOOK FOR ANY PROBLEMS, IF THERE ARE, DOWNLOAD DIRECTX 9.0B, FROM THE WINDOWS UPDATE SITE...
I too have JO:typhoon rising, and it is a nice game...even on my little 1.7 p4

also check to make sure any previous drivers you were using were uninstalled for any previous video card

 

what if directx works just fine? (im getting the same error for the sims 2.)

 

Have you tried booting to safe mode and installing DirectX9.0c from there?

 

Did try system restore?
