I am replacing my computer, so I want to do a recovery to have all my files and information clear from the system.

I have a Gateway and have all the CD's I need, but the process calls to insert the CD and restart the computer, where the CD will ask prompt me to boot from the CD.

However, I restart it and continues to boot normally, ignoring the recovery cd that is in my drive.

I have recovered this computer before, and it has worked perfectly fine, but I don't know what the problem is this time.
