Problems using programs in a Limited Account? (Windows XP)

First off, I use Windows XP, and I have two user accounts, an administrator one and a limited one. I keep most of my activities on the limited one for security reasons. I've only installed programs from the admin account though.

Anyway, my question is: What kind of problems could I run into trying to run installed programs that don't work right in a limited user account? Aside from it not working, of course. I heard somewhere that you could have registry errors. Is that true, and if that's the case, is it possible to fix/remove those?

I was also curious... are there any pros or cons to installing programs in a limited user account as opposed to an administrator account?

Final question, if anyone knows that is. I installed Trillian in the administrator account, and was wondering, would that work in the limited account? I'm a bit worried to try it myself, as I don't know if it could mess things up if it doesn't work (hence the above questions ;) ).

Thanks in advance for any help!

It's been a while, so I'll have a go at this.

I'm not aware of any problems in running programs from a limited account. I do it all the time. Are you aware that you can run most programs in this way by right clicking on the application and selecting to run as Administrator?

I don't think it makes any difference which account you are in when you install a program - provided it lets you do it in the limited user account.

I can't see any problem with running Trillian from the limited account - again, assuming it lets you (try the above method). When in doubt, there's always 'restore'.
