   When i click on an e mail to allow pictures it clicks on the e mail that is below. I also have problem when I click on a drop down box it drops down and goes away before I can do anything. It takes a number of clicks before it works.
   
   Dell Dimension 2400
   253 mgz
   1 Gig ram
   XP Home with Service Pack 2

   Easiest solution: try a different mouse. Yes mice do go bad.
   
   Also you should be running SP3 in XP. MS no longer supports anything below SP3 as of July 13, 2010; this means you get no security patches. I had three Dimension 2400 and all are running SP3.
