I just got this Brand new Computer, and the same programs I used to use on my old Computer, tend to Freeze on this New One, The Computer came with Vista, and I formatted and Installed XP Pro SAme DAy, Its not Spyware, because I ran all the Programs for that and I just barely got the Computer, and I havent put too much on it, I removed everything from Startup.

It Seems like If I Multitask too much one program will grab onto the computer and take a hold of it, till its job is done, which is annoying, and if I wait it out, than the computer responds to me, sometimes it just freezes permenantly all together, Where I have to hold the Power Button to Turn off and On Again.

Is This a Problem with CORE 2 DUO Chipsets? Because I have a similar problem with my new laptop which is also Core 2 Duo, My Old P4 Didnt Do any of this! And yes I have installed all the chipset Drivers and Everything, Device Manager has no exclamation marks, But I installed everything Perfectly.

    Heres my SPECS BELOW:

Since your problems do not sound like they are malware related (and you stated such), I'm moving this to the Software Forum. It could be that it belongs in the Hardware Forum if you are having a compatibility issue with changing your OS.
