Ok so here is a basic outline of what is happening and what I have done.

1st I have some pc games like WOW and EVE online that I play very frequently. They continuously crash and when they do i can catch a glimpse of my cpu cycles in the cpu freq monitor i have on side bar and it is running at nearly 100% on both cores. there is no reason it should be that high. i know i have the right drivers installed for the gpu, and i have the dual core optimizer from amd support for the multicore processor i have. I dont know if i have the mb drivers though.

the crashes i get are simple desktop crashes as well as 3 seperate BSOD's that are all seemingly random.

the bsod's i get are "irql not equal or less than" or however that one is worded. "memory management." the new 3rd is "mismanagement of pte's"

    my specs are as follows:
    vista x64 ultimate upgrade
    asus m3n78 pro
    amd athlon 64 x2 600+
    geforce 9600gt
    audigy x-fi etreme gamer
    600w ps
    seagate sata 7200 rpm 300g

I formatted my pc to rid myself of this problem, and nothing worked. I then formatted both my main hd, and my data drive just to be sure...still no luck.

is there maybe a driver im missing, also is there some sort of freeware maybe that will check to see if i have the latest drivers cuz some support sites (amd specifically) suck when it comes to searching for drivers.
