Problems with DVD write speed

    Hi, I'm new here and I want to ask if anyone knows why I cant set my DVD writer to write with speed less than 4x?? I've got LiteOn DVDRw Drive SOHW-1633S, updated firmware and ASPI layer. I'm using newest Nero software, Alcohol and CDRWin but even if I set them to 1x or 2x it always switches to a max speed. PLZ help dont know what to do :rolleyes:

    i cant set my cd burner at anything less then 40x. not a big deal, when i use 24x media it automaticaly slows down even though it wont let you select a lower speed.
