Problems with games and movies

Revently my computer has been freezing whenever i play games. They start out normal but about ten minutese into playing my whole computer freezes. Sometimes it resumes after a few minutes but then when i do anything in the game it freezes again. Also whenever i try to watch something on my computer the screen goes black every now and then for a second but then the movie resumes as normal. Origionaly i thought this was caused by malware but after cleaning it thoroughly the problem wasnt fixed. Heres the thread i started on malware http://forum.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=99409

 

Could be heat related...Open your case and make sure all fans are running especially the one on your graphics card...Your system specs listed would be a good thing too....
