Problems with LimeWire

I have checked as many old threads as possible to see if anyone has had a similar problem, but it doesn't seem so.

When i try and start LimeWire, the little loading screen appears, and it gets stuck on: "loading user interface", when it should be loading up menu's etc. Now i first got this problem a few days ago, having left Limewire on overnight to hopefully complete some downloads. When i checked in the morning, there was a message saying the program had been aborted. I decided to do a fresh install, and it worked at first. The only change that has taken place since it worked was transferring some video files from the other PC.

I will try and answer questions promptly if anyone needs more info.

Not too many of us use or assist with P2P programs, which is why you might not have seen much on it or responses. Usually people start by saying they are having a problem downloading movies or audio and we cant assist with that Since these are used often to download illegal files, a virus or trojan is always likely. I would try a complete anti-virus scan, but beyond that I dont know what could be wrong.

Ok, i understand your stance with regards P2P. It turns out that the recent Java download is what done it. I have un-intsalled the most recent version and its working.
