Problems with Netscape Browser

Recently whats been happening is that my netscape browser has been freezing every 10-20 seconds or so, before loading the pages, especailly if im using tabbed browsing. its really annoying and it uses up half of the processers time just loading the pages, and it continousely increases memory consumption whenever it feezes or lowers it. before i could load up 30 pages in tabbed browsing with no problem. i tried uninstalling the browser and deleting profiles. i then installed a newer version (8.1.2 from 8.0), irt worked for the first two days fine, then it started freezing up like before. i dont know what the problem could be, but i really love netscape and couldnt imagine leaving it. ive decided the issues could be related to active x, javascript, flash, or java. it will freeze on whatever page i may be on, and doesnt matter. but it freezes for longer periods when loading heavy pages. thanks 4 your help

If you have made no recent changes other than the new install of your browser you might have picked up some nasties.

 

theres no problems wth malware ive already checked. and i still prefer netscape over firefox

 

nvm it guys. i decided to try out firefox for the first time, its funny because i knew of its featurs and popularity but before i always thought of it as netscape "junior", but now ive changed my mind, im loving this browser. its cleaner, faster, more stable, and more secure than netscape. thanks for the suggestion, i would have never gotten through my stubbornness otherwise.
