problems with PC USB

If i stick my Toshiba 512MB USB 2.0 Zip Drive into any of my USB's i get the sound you normally get when you stick it in but the drive doesnt show up in my computer nor can i access the data on it.

When i stick the cable for my Lachie 300GB external hard drive into the same USB port, it reads it no problems.

Do i need to re-install the USB drivers?

The Zip DRive works fine on my HP laptop and PC at work.

Any suggestions?

since the usb works with other things, i wouldnt think its the driver. you didnt say how old the pc in question is, possibly a bios update?. ed

 

I Have an Antec ARIA Box with a 8 in 1 Slot reader card installed.

This seems to be a common problem with these cards.

I can't find the Win XP drivers for it anywhere! They don't have bios or driver updates from their website and the installation disc only has NT & Win 98 drivers on it.

This is really frustrating!
