problems with spybot

My spybot keeps shutting immediately at the beginning of a scan.

Any ideas?

What are your system specs? What os? What version of spybot are you using? 1.4?

I am running Spybot 1.4b2.

My OS is Windows XP Home. I have a Celeron 2.53 Ghz. 504 MB RAM.
I have never had any problems running it before.
I happened to catch another thread on the spyware forum and saw somebody else the exact same problem today. she said she ran a virus check and then it was alright. I don't know though. I did I virus check and I'm still having the problem.

Any other specs you need to know?
What do you think?

 

I'd remove your beta of spybot and install the official release and try again.
