Problems with Vista & IE7

This is my first post so be gentle with me, although I have used the solutions posted on this site very sucessfully in the past.

I have Vista Beta build 5384 and the Beta 2 version of Office 2007 on my PC and am having a few issues.

Access to websites is patchy and even within sites some pages open and others give me a 'Cannot open this page' message. Ebay is a particular problem. I have both Firefox & IE7 running sometimes one works, somtimes the other, or neither or both.

I tried to download Vista RC and the download package provided by Microsoft started to work then gave me a message telling me it could not complete the download and closed

I cannot get Windows updates, no reason is given. It just fails.

I thought Windows Defender might be at the root so have disabled it, without making any difference.

I have run Adaware and nothing significant came out of it.

Any views?

No such problems here with Vista RC2 build 5744....

Try for this download without using the download manager!

It could be the early beta builds (that you use) of vista, office 2007, IE or a combo conflict of all!
