Problems with VNC

I just downloaded the new version of remote VNC from the MG posting from the other day. Since installing it on my home pc I have had trouble. I set the Server side up from my computer at work and the viewer side is my PC at home. I connect fine but when I actually start to use it, just moving the mouse or clicking once, my machine just reboots. I swappped sides setting my PC @ home as the server and my PC @ work as the veiwer and there is no problem. For the PC at home I have updated the video drivers Power supply is fine, I'm thinking something with the video. All the settings in VNC are on basic no there is no high graphic demand. I am running win 2k with a ATI 8500dv card all updated. I'm fairly new to VNC so it could be something stupid, but a complete reboot?

Turn off automatically restart.

System Properties, Advanced, Startup and Recovery.

Uncheck the option for automatic restart.


Then tlel us what the stop error says verbatim, and any filenames mentioned.
