I need to run a repair on my Windows client this morning due to some internet settings getting messed up and not being able to use a DHCP server through my ISP.

The problem that I am having now is that I can download all the updates that I need after running the repair, but upon install they all fail. Now some of the updates are still on the computer from before, such as the .nets and 1 security update (KB923789), but that's it.

I tried deleting temp internet files and that had no effect.

Any ideas why they won't install?

There are no error codes being shown either on the screen directly after it tells you they failed, or when you bring up update history.

I go to help and support and click on the windows update link.

2nd that, click the green check mark, then make sure the time/date prompt is accurate, then post here with any errors it states.
