I have a process GM_Devupdate.exe which is running, I have noticed. I suspect it's associated with the Logic 3 Proflight2 joystick software (drivers etc) I recently installed. It has been reported as such (http://www.file.net/process/gm_devupdate.exe.html "USB all-in-one game controller by unknown", this doesn't tell me much) .

The issue is that it's permanently running and takes up 2-6 % of my CPU.

Does anyone know what this process actually does ? Can I 'End' it safely ? How do I top it loading when I boot and how can invoke it when I want ? (in simple terms please !)
