Quick question. Does Process Lasso really work or is it just a waste of time ?

    Hi

My personal thoughts are you can do most of the optimisation manually yourself, takes time and reading but can be done, does many tweaks work "maybe" but will you notice a different in setting CPU affinity etc likely not and kinda think its an app more geared for sever admins to balance the load and apps running over a daily PC user, as you can just use Task Manager to do alot of this and via TM you can set affinity of the CPU to apps (Task Manager > Details > right click Affinity)

This app may just make things easily accessible in an AIO app, but would you pay for it, as if you are thinking of the tasks this app does then you likely know how to do them manually with inbuilt options or free apps.

Thanks David, I thought the same thing as you, but I wanted to run by the gang at MG's first. Bitsum does now have a program aimed at the average user which is just a watered down version of Process Lasso called CPUBalance, that only runs the ProBalance feature, but I to prefer the hands on method. You may want to check it out. Thanks again.
