Process start up managers?

    Im looking for a program to stop all the process and programs opening in the background that i dont need to have running!

    Any ideas?

    Hi

    You could give this application a go that will stop or disable any startups that are not needed, http://www.majorgeeks.com/Startup_CPL_d619.html

    However some core processes do startup that are not controlled by applications these you need to judge for yourself if they are needed and use a guide like Black Vipers to go by, but make notes on what you stop/disable as some have dependancies and need to run.
