   What is overall a better processor and why? a first gen i7 920 or a second gen i5 that has sandybridge. I would think the i5 would be better because of the new smart turbo technology and the GPU that the processor has, but does the i7 processor outweigh the i5 that much? I don't know. What's your thoughts?

   I would Google info for benchmarks, the new chipsets are confusing... Or the one that costs more is faster Tom's Hardware is a good source.

   There are flaws in i5 and i7 chips. So at the moment, avoid both of these.
