Processor/MoBo issue..

    Heya,

    I bought a new Syntax K7SV266AD MoBo with an AMD2400 Proc and for some reason the MoBo is only registering the Processor as 998mhz.. now I know this is wrong. So I tried switching up processors with another I had from my bad board... same thing - clocked at 998mhz. So this seems to be an issue with the board I'm guessing? And I'm just wondering if there's something I can do to get it to recognize the processor as it should be?

    Any help in this would be great appreciated. Many thanks. =]

    just change the FSB in the bios from 133 to 266, should fix your problem.
