Processor upgrade.

Here is my PC.

I did upgrade the vid card, memory and Power Supply.
Just curious as I have looked on-line to see processors that are compatible but could not find an answer. What would be a decent priced one that will work better and be compatible with this motherboard.

the motherboard in your system is an MSI K8NGM2-L. It takes a socket 939 AMD64 processor. If you want to upgrade, I would recommend an opteron dual core, like the opteron 165 or 175.

HOWEVER, be warned, I've seen a number of complaints that new CPUs that should work in your motherboard do not in the emachines variant. I'm not sure if its an emachines BIOS issue, or an actual motherboard problem, but unless you're willing to do some research and possibly flash the bios with a custom version or beta version from MSI, I would consider getting a new motherboard.
