Processor

Hi Everyone!!! I have a question. It is this. Can a processor cause a computer to start up, run for approx. 30 seconds to a minute and then shut down. There are no warning flags or any thing else. I have purchased new hard drives, cd-rw drives, new motherboard, new video card, new floppy drive, and new 550 watt power supply. The only thing I haven't replaced is the processor and ram memory. I even had the 6 mo. old motherboard this all started on sent back to Soyo for repair. When I got the board back it did the same thing all over again. Can anyone help me?/ Thanks Zyhotie
