Profile Changes

So I noticed that are profile pages have undergone a renovation. Just how unobservant am I? Did this just happen, or has it been like this?

What is the difference between a Visitor Message and a Private Message?

Also, will you be my friend?? I just noticed I don't have any.:cry

 

Hi Laura, its been like that for months!


OK no I joke, this only just happend the other day, and visitor message is not like a private message (PM) as its not private, its a message option to comment whilelooking at your profile, TBH I dont see its point, Shoutbox is good for chat and PM if you want chat privacy.

hahahhaa on friends! Last time we had that option i forgot to enable a few and its a wonder they still talk to me you will notice folk who are listed as your friend will have a + by their user name in the USERS online list.

Wait...huh?? lol You mean people can go in and say things in your profile and they kinda just stay there for everyone to see? Kinda like graffiti? LOL

YEP! but we will actively moderate this and if abused it "may" go, with so many members it maybe hard to review all, but if i have it right the comments will be scanned by the same spam/decency filter as the rest of forum has.

Dont know is the honest answer as yet as I have mystical powers to delete most things being admin, but I will post in your profile and see if you can delete it..... yay you get to be a Majorgeeks guineepig! OK see Dya's post and yup you can delete them or report them as admins will get he report to act on if its a not so nice comment.
