Profile disappearance after Easy Transfer procedure

Hello and thank you in advance for any help folks can provide. I've searched the "Easy Transfer" thread, but did not see a similar problem, hence I'm posting these questions.

Using the "Windows Easy Transfer" process and an external HD, I moved my profile and settings from an older laptop running Windows 7 to a newer one, also running 7. After that move, I made another one, this time from a Dell Latitude d620 running XP SP 3 to the same Windows 7 to which I had made the original transfer. After I re-started the Windows 7 laptop as per directions, I found out that it now resembles the old XP computer. Even my OWNER profile picture is an old one. The "My Documents" folder contains stuff from the oldest of the source laptops, not a single item from the target laptop. Furthermore, I learned that there's an Administrator profile which I don't have access! It is as if the latest transfer replaced all the prior settings, preferences and folders I had in the target laptop.

My questions are: a) where did everything go that I originally had on the Windows 7 laptop prior to the transfers? b) is there a way to merge all that was transferred into 1 profile that I can access? c) should I just use System Restore to return to a point prior to the transfers and then manually and individually transfer selected items (I'm avoiding this because it looks like it would take a very long time!)?
