Progams that shut down when 2 browsers are open

I have a question, I am in an online math course in which I have to log into a site to do questions, but it is set up to shut down the math site if I have another tab or browser open. It says"mathlab will shut down if it senses another tab or browser is open". I like to multitask and am in 4 classes that are online and I would like a work around. Is there any way to run another browser and not have this happen?

I have Windows 7 64 bit, my main browser is firefox, and I also use IE 9.

Any help would be great.
