Program ID No.s

    I'm reinstalling programs on a new computer and cannot find the ID numbers on some of the older programs I want to install from disks on the new computer. On some site somewhere, I thought I saw a freeware program that could extract the program serial number information from the disk itself. Anyone know what/where that little jewel might be hiding? :confused:
