Program question

Hi Everone,

I'm new to MG and would like to say hello to everyone!

I have just finished building a computer and I was just wondering if there was a program that could tell me if there were any faults that need to be fixed in the hardware and software installation? a hardware and software error checker tool.

I just like to be sure!

Hi and welcome, congrats on the building

One option for you could be to use Big Fix

personally I tend to use Device Manager to see if I have any Hardware issues, then go find updated drivers from the manufacturers, one application to have installed is Everest as it tells you everything thats in your pc, makers names hardware versions etc

Software ( dont think off hand their is any software that will test to see if its ok or not ) if it goes wrong then I tend to make sure I have all MS updates ( or whatever OS your using ) and latest updates to any software I install, if you have any problems with software and have all updates and have re-installed it just in case it was one of those things ( bad install ) then I would post a thread on MGs asking if anyone had come across that problem.
