I just got the program Keyhole...

    http://www.keyhole.com/

It lets you zoom waaaaaay into a specific point on the Earth via satellite photos. It's really amazing. Anyway, I wanted to get some footage of this zooming in action. Obviously holding a camera up to the screen isn't the key.
Is there a program in existance that can capture exactly what's happening on screen in a file that I can easily import with some editing software?
    Thanks in advance!

Do a Google search for CamStudio 2.0 (2.1 requires registration, and the publisher, Rendersoft, will not issue new registrations). It records screenshots and even audio from a microphone or soundcard and saves it as an avi or flash file.

Here is a freebie to try out.. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=57457&package_id=53019&release_id=102379
called screen view: Screen View is an Open Source Tool to Record your Windows Desktop (with or without sound) and save it as standards movies, such as AVI, MPEG, MJPEG, etc... The project is similar to the propietary product Camtasia, but this is Open Source

There was one similar to Camtasia @ sourceforge but some software company bought it.. they were still giving it away.. I just can't find it right now.
