Don't know how did this came about. Adobe for IE was installed by me as soon as it came out. It can be played in IE but it's not shown in Programs and features.

How can I put these programs in alphabetical order, the way they're supposed to be. I could not find any way to put them back where they belong. Here an attachment of the lower part to show how part of it looks - messy!

CCleaner puts them in alphabetical order and Adobe Flash for IE is missing there as well.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

    Greetings, Oma.

Have you tried clicking on the 'Name' bar (the bar beneath 'Organize')? Try that first - you might have to click it a couple of times to produce the 'A-Z' sort order.

Open Control Panel (select small icons). Do not click Programs and Features. You will see an icon Flash Player.

Hi Caliban! I don't have that under organize, see pic.
I see an Icon Flash Player 32 bit. I wouldn't be able to uninstall Flash Player for IE because it's not showing in the Programs and Features.

Thanks for trying to help. I think that this PC needs a re-install. Will have to call an IT Tech to do that because there are more problems with this PC.

Forgot to include the pic. Sorry! PS: How would I uninstall Adobe Flash for IE when it is not showing?

Sorry Caliban, was too hasty and didn't look at the *name* Found it and I just tried it numerous times what you told me to do and no, it doesn't change back into an alphabetical order.

@Plodr & Caliban: I don't get sound either anymore when going to Youtube, only sound comes on when I play some videos already on my machine. Some days ago a Dell IT Tech (Tony) removed many GB from my computer because I told him that in a few days many GB's were added and I had not installed any programs/software. After that deleting I had MORE GB free than prior when everything was running fine. I honestly think that he in part borked :cry my PC and think that a re-install is necessary sometime soon. I never re-installed so I need to call an IT Tech to do it for me. I ran sfc /scannow and it said that Windows Resource found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. I also ran chkdsk /f /r and that didn't help either.

PS: I deleted all images on the 2 external HDDs just prior to that and the ones I made after that must be corrupted. arrrggghhh

The problem isn't on your end. It's to do with a recent code change at YouTube. Once you delete your browsing history, YouTube's cookie is deleted and for some reason YouTube have set the default volume to zero.
In the meantime (not sure if this is a glitch or some fantastic new feature), you'll need to adjust the volume slider on the first video you play.

@nullptr - yes, I found out that the slider has to be moved in order to hear sounds in YT but didn't know why until you explained it in your post.

Fixed the programs in Programs and Features that were not in alphabetical order. I found the solution to above after googling quite a bit. Might be useful for people who may have the same problem now or in the future.

    When in Programs and Features:
right click on an empty/blank space within the window> select sort by>click/select name and that's it. Easy as pie once you know it. :)
