programs for setting up and testing 5.1 surrond sound speakers

    hi im having problems with my speakers they seem to only be only working on 2 speakers plus the bass box in my o/s ive turned the speakers on to 5.1 surrond sound and the wires r set up correct in to pc my o/s is xp pro any suggestions

    is that onboard sound or a pci card

    obvious question have you checked for the newest drivers
