Programs Problem

    Big big problem here. I use Windows ME and it's the most annoying OS ever!
    Every time i open a program, lets say internet explorer, it's bound to cause an error in itself - IExplore has caused an error in IExplore.exe etc...
    but this happens to various other programs too. like Gamespy arcade - Gamspy arcade has caused an error in APHEX.exe - which is the main executable for Gamespy arcade. can anyone help me?
    BTW, i've scanned for Viruses, searched for spyware and even fixed my registery keys!

    are you all upto date with windows updates?

    what are the full specs of your PC ... CPU, RAM ( amount of ) etc etc

    All up to date with ME
    Specs: Hard Drive: 80GB with 8mb cache
    GFX card: Nvidia GeForce 4MX 440
    RAM: Kingston 512mb DDR
    Sound Card Driver: AC Advance 97
    Network Adapter: Realtek (something or other)
    Direct X = up to date (works with my gfx card)

    Hate to say it but you probably should backup your data and just wipe & load.
    You are right, WIN ME sucks and is one of the worst OS'es ever made. :rolleyes:
