Programs (x86)

    I just installed Vista Home Premium 64 bit on my PC and noticed that the program files are now split into:

    • Programs
    • Programs (x86)

    Can someone please tell me what this is all about? What is this "x86", and how does it differ from the other program files? Thanks for your help.
