Is it possible to use a proxy on an online game like call of duty 2?

What would I need to set this up?

Its possible, sure, but most proxies would introduce lag as your having to relay through another server to get to the end destination, and most proxies are slower and designed mostly for web type traffic, not all proxies would probably be capable of relay. Not sure on how you would go about setting it up tho.

Call of duty 2 does not use a web browser, there are many websites I can go to for free proxys, but I am trying to find if a proxy can be used for a separate application that is running.

    And I Don't care about speed/lag!

I am looking at getting a new and better router. Is is possible that a better router may let me do this?
