proxy server refusing connection

im trying to get online with my laptop i have a samsung r480 running windows 7 im trying to get online with firefox i have a wireless network setup in my house and every over computer and laptop in the house can connect but i can not, i can load a game and play online in the game but i cant not just acces the internet i cant a message that read to the following:
the proxy server is refusing connections
firefox isa configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

i tried to restore the computer to a later date but it will nt restore to any date that i chooce.

can anyone help me please.

 

I do not know i honestly do not know what that means. I brought my laptop to my girlfriends hows and it gives me the same message. Is it spywear or malwear or somethign of the sort? it was working jsut yesterday
