   recently ran into these two beauties thanks to a young family member downloading some cutesy icon. Don't know much about the real technical side of this, but they were pretty good at hijacking the browser. Was able to get rid of of them thanks to one string I found on some obscure site. Just thought I would try and raise awareness.

   Specifics would raise awareness, otherwise all you said was you had a hijack and removed it with some odd string. Im skeptical, spyware never comes in a single form, it is usually multiple. Odds are you run Ad-Aware or Spybot, you will find more things.
