i have a ps/2 keyboard that I need to use with usb. I bought a ps/2 to usb adaptor but when I plug it into the usb the keyboard is dead. Any idea what I should do?

See if there's a 'USB Keyboard' option you can enable in BIOS setup (you'd have to do that with a non-USB KB obviously).

I've noticed that certain adapters don't work with certain devices. For example, i have several USB>PS/2 adapters from Logitech and MS. Both look identical, except the MS one has Microsoft stamped on it.

The MS adapters will not work on my USB Logitech Mice.

    Go figure...
