ps2 online

    Hi
    not sure if this is the right area of the forum But here goes any way

    my pc has 2 network cards one is my connection to internet
    Can/ How do i confugure the second so that i can connect my ps2 and share the internet connection ?

    It would be easier if you connected the PS2 to your Router, then through ICS on a computer. The only thing about ICS, is that you need the computer up and running all the time.

    If you insist on using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing), then you will need a Cross-Over cable (TX & RX are reversed on one end) to do it.

    I don't have a router but i am planning on getting one
    just wanted get ps2 online for now . The pc is on most of the day so thats not really an issue
    As for the crossover cable i have been given what i am told is one

    do i need to cofigue my second network card or just plug the cable in and setup ICS ?

    Just plug in and configure ICS. There should be instructions at Sony.com in how to configure the setup for use with the PS2.
