ps2 trouble

My Ps 2 is telling me I have something wrong with my internal harddrive after my update for final fantasy 11 went through what does this when it tells me there is something wrong with my internal hdd

this is a guess but i bet it might have something to do with your internal harddrive

all jokes aside, what exactly is it telling you?

 

when i'm putting a game in my ps2 console it's making a noise and it can't play the games.i tried cd cleaner but it didn't work.what else can i do?

 

is it the old school PS2 or the slim one? slim ps2s don't have any hard drive. otherwise its possible your hard drive may just be el crappo

<Might be best to buy a new PS2, although your gonna lose all the game data from the old crappy one
Even if you take it in for repairs theres still a possibility your gonna lose the data. Plus the price for repair isnt worth it, depending at where you take it.

 

yea it may be a good idea to just get another ps2, i think i may have to also get a new ps2. i mostly watch movies on mine but its getting picky about which movies it will play. more often now it just says disk read error on the screen, i suppose the laser is getting weak i dunno. good luck with yours
