how do i get my playstation online? everytime i try it tells me a cable is unpluged.

 

Do you have internet access(internet provider) ADSL or i don't knows if ordinary internet work 56K...

 

i have dsl

 

i guess you have to check you cable carefully maybe one is defect ???

 

run me through the process of gettin my ps2 online. ill see if i skipped a step or something

Also, what exactly do you have and how exactly are you trying to hook it up?

 

do i have to use the network adapter if it is one of the new ps2s? it has a place to put the cable...

 

It should have come with a manual, which will detail what it's equipped with. I do not know exactly what hardware you have, so I can't answer your question. As far as I know the PS2 requires a network adapter to be online, but I don't know if yours came with one. What exactly did you buy, and do you have the manual for it?
